WEIGH IN - BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Okay it is time for EVERYONE to weigh in! (and I mean everyone...if you have never commented on my blog, now is the time). I want to know your favorite face wash, moisturizer and any other beauty product that you LOVE. I have never found a face wash or face moisturizer that I love, so I need your HELP!

The only thing I use that I haven't been disappointed with is Bare Minerals. I like how it is so light and doesn't feel cakey (if that is a word) like liquid foundation. I only use the foundation, so I can't speak for their other products. And it lasts quite awhile, which is great.

*I also have naturally curly hair and would love any products you like for us curly girls.

Update: I remembered a few other products I like. Lancome's Juicy tubes lip gloss. They are expensive, but I love that they don't have an applicator and they have some great colors. They last forever too (at least for me).
I have also started using Pureology shampoo and conditioner and like the fact that it is sulfate free (the ingredient in shampoo that dries out your hair). My hair is much softer after using this (again..it is not cheap).

What does everyone use for soap in the shower? I have been using Bath & Body Works creamy body wash for years, but it does not moisturize my extremely dry skin much. I just like the different scents. I would rather use something more moisturizing if anyone has any suggestions.

Some of my favorites are... oil of olay face lotion (the best ever!) you can get a large one at costco. and, call me crazy, but i just use bar soap for face wash! i've always used that, and i've always loved it. dove & oil of olay are the best. my favorite hair product is- farouk systems biosilk. great for all hair types. for foundation i use mac's (sheer coverage), i can't remember the exact name, and i also use mac's powder. i LOVE bobbi brown's undereye concealer- once you try it you'll never go without it! i look awful without that stuff on! i also love bobbi brown's blush in clementine (it looks bright, but is really natural and fresh looking on. the BEST LIPGLOSS EVER is C.O. Bigelows!!

Mary Kay all the way! Besides the fact that I am a consultant, I actually really LOVE the products -All of them! The timewise facewash and moisturizer are my favorites along with the Microderm Abrasion - Love that! Also, they just came out with new mineral foundation and I have been trying it out and I actaully really like it. I haven't used mineral foundation before. If anyone wants to try any Mary Kay products, I can get you samples to try. Sorry - not trying to sound like a saleswoman, but it really is good stuff! www.marykay.com/amyathomason

I am a MAC girl fo most things...but I can say I love bare minerals. I use the whole starter kit from sephora and I love it! Anyone who has freckles this is the way to go...I never liked how traditional foundation seemed to cover-up my freckles and look too made up adn unnatural...but bare minerals gives the coverage I need in certain areas while still allowing my natural skin to show through Love that! I think I may have to try that Bobbi Brown undereye concealer though...sounds great!
Couple of my little tips...I will say that my favorite all time eye shadow is MAC "naked lunch"...and I adore their strobe cream for healthy natural glowing skin

I use MAC makeup as well, except for Lancome Definicils Mascara.

My Mom started using a product called Arbonne that she recommended to me. It is an anti-aging face wash, eye cream, mosturizer, etc. I have used it for a couple of years now and I love it...it is the only thing that keeps my face hydrated in the harsh Utah winters.

For my hair I use Pureology Shampoo and Conditioner, still trying to find a good blowout product though...right now I am using a Kerastase cream it makes my hair really soft, but it won't hold a 'style'

Oh the dilemma! Can't wait for all the feedback:)

I love MAC! They have an awesome moisturizer...I think it is called "moisture fix" or something similar. They also have several different kinds of foundations...from very sheer to full coverage. Best foundation I have ever used. They have tons of cool brushes and hundreds of eye shadow colors which are adorable!

I love Philosophy skincare - Purity facewash, When Hope is Not Enough Face Serum, and Hope in a Jar moisturizer. It literally has made my skin GLOW!! I have seen a huge change in my skin. Their body washes are also incredible - they have some unique scents and last long after you get out of the shower. I also use MAC for colors and Lancome Definicils Mascara and MAC Strobe Cream. There is also an awesome shampoo/conditioner By Alterna called White Truffle. It is Jennifer Anniston's shampoo and they sell it at beautysak.com. It is a little spendy but is half the price it used to be and is worth the money!

I love your blog and check it out regularly. I haven't used any of the mineral makeup yet but I have to try it one day since everyone seems to like it. E.L.F website has mineral makeup for cheap but I haven't used their products before.
One of my favorites eyeliner is Maybeline waterproof liquid eyeliner. It lasts all day and is easy to apply and I can't find another brand that works like it.
I like MD Forte for face cleanser because it's like a mild face peel. For nail polish, I like OPI and you can get them at a better price at a nail supply shop.
