GO GO KIDZ TRAVELMATE

I feel like I should do another post on one of my favorite kid items of all time, the Go Go Kidz Travelmate (because it was my very first post and it has been awhile). Whenever I use it at the airport people stop and ask where I got it. It is a set of wheels that you connect to your toddler car seat (works on most) and then you can wheel your car seat through the airport instead of trying to carry that heavy thing with the rest of your stuff.

So do you use this at places other then the airport? Or is it mostly good for traveling..it is so neat!!

I have only used it at the airport. I use it because I want to have my car seat for my son to sit in on the plane, but I don't want to carry it to the plane. You don't have to buy seats for kids until they are 2, so we always take his carseat to the gate and ask if there is an extra seat. We usually get a seat, so it is very convenient and then my son will maybe even sleep or at least not have to sit on my lap and want to get down the entire time.

So I saw that tutus and turtles put this on their site, but they gave you credit like you asked!

I wanted to know if you know the guidelines for using the gogo kidz at Los Angeles airport? I heard that sometimes they make you take out the carseat from the travelmate, is that true?

I just got back from a trip to Los Angeles with my 21 month old. I purchased the car seat traveler after struggling with luggage and car seat on previous trips. I was hesitant to make the purchase after spending tons of money on other failed "traveler systems." I am so pleased to say, I am absolutely thrilled with the performance of this exceptional item. We breezed through the security lines and traveled from terminal to terminal with complete ease. What a nice change!

My only wish list for the engineers at GoGoBabyz is to come up with a different solution than the bolt attachment for the Britax Marathon car seats. It took me some time to unscrew it when entering cabs, etc.

In response to the guidelines at the Los Angeles airport, I had no problem what so ever. I asked them to hand scan the car seat since it was too big to go through the machine.
