Did you know that South Jordan, Utah has an outdoor ice skating rink near City Hall? It is Free to the public too! If you need ice skates there are only $1.50 for ages 16 and up. $1.00 for 15 and under and $.50 for groups of 15 or more. It runs from December 1st-February 29th.
It is open all day but you can only rent skates during certain hours in the evening. They will let you pick up skates in advance though if you want to come during the day.

Great tip Karen. I think it would be fun to take my boys out skating. I think I will have to pad their bottoms first though.
