What are your favorite Christmas treats? I love Dreyers Peppermint ice cream serve with Hot Fudge on top. I also love Mint M&Ms. The M&Ms are a little tricky to find, however.

Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark AND dark chocolate!
Mine is the German Marzipan covered with the dark chocolate. Perhaps more of a comfort food from wonderful memories of Christmas time with my granny!
I love to make so many yummy treats at Christmas time. I justify it because I give a lot of it away, but I really do end up eating a lot of it too!
I made the yummiest peppermint bark last year and will be doing that again. Truffles and spice cake are favorites too. I would like to find a recipe for these really yummy cookies that I had in Denmark many years ago. Peppernodder or something like that.

This is also one of my favorites, I like putting it on a brownie then with fudge sauce yum yum. I also like to make brownies and then top them with Andes mints once they melt spread it around, mm good.
You hit it right on the head! I LOVE peppermint icecream with hot fudge! I have the best hot fudge recipe:
6 TBS cocoa
13 oz can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
2 TBS butter or marg
bring to a boil. Boil about 15 min. (keep stirring or it wil scorch)
Then add:
1 TBS butter or marg
dash of salt
1 tsp vanilla
ENJOY!!!!
Andies Mints are the BEST!!! Yummmy
Store bought:
Egg Nog (we mix with a little milk so it's not too thick);
Spumoni Ice Cream (why is this only found at Christmas time?);
Chocolate Orange
Homemade:
Bread Pudding;
Cranberry Pudding w/warm butter cream sauce;
Wassail;
Mexican Wedding Cookies/Snowy Nut Ball Cookies;
Fudge;
Hot Chocolate w/flavored syrups
I didn't know you were a mint lover...I am too, there is nothing that makes me more happy than a YORK peppermint patty! Can't wait for the peppermint ice cream, Ave and I can't get enough.
