I love photography. I have become quite obsessed with it since I had my son. That is why I had to get an SLR Camera so I could have good quality photos and a fast camera to get them. I love my camera so much, but I feel overwelmed by all of the amazing things it can do. I just discovered a website called Mom Shots. It is designed for those of us that just want decent pics. of our kids (or whatever subject) and need a little help and tips along the way.

Aw, and I was thinking shots of vodka for those not-so-good days...:( Haahaha! Really though, what a great thing! I have really been wanting to learn more of the features on my camera and how to use them. Thanks!!

That is such a good idea/ tip. I have Brooke in the family for all my real pics, as for the pics I take, well I need as much help as I can get! Thanks!!

What a great website! Thanks Karen.
Marky,
In the SLR world there are Canon users and there are Nikon users. There are other brands too, but these are the 2 most popular. I am a Canon girl. I liked the way it looked and felt and it seemed more user friendly than the Nikon. It is just personal preference. they are both great cameras. I bought the entry level Canon because I have been told to get the entry level camera when you are first starting out and then spend money on lenses because a good lens can make a world of difference. Then you can use those expensive lenses on your next model. I am a big fan of buying at Inkleys because they have a great warranty that they will replace or repair your camera no matter what you do to it! (except fire)
