CITY DEALS!

City Deals has been around quite awhile but they have really made some great strides lately! They are an awesome deal site that is mostly for Utah (although they do have National deals if you put in your city you will see them). I am amazed at how many deals they offer and just how good they are.

You may have noticed a lot of these daily deals sites popping up (especially in Utah). Groupon is a National One but in Utah we have some more. I have linked the sites I follow on the top right sidebar on my blog for you to have quick access to them. Kohl's $5 coupon

Kohl's will give you a free $5 coupon to be used on any purchase if you sign up for their emails. The coupon is emailed within a few days of signing up. I had fun seeing what I could find for $5 and there were plenty of options for my son and baby on the way. Click here to sign up.

DROP SIDE CRIB BAN

The sale of  Drop Side cribs will mostly likely be banned by the end of 2010 and most companies (as far as I understand) have issued recalls on their drop side cribs as a precaution. If you own one check online to see if there has been a recall on your crib. I thought that mine had not but it was about 2 months ago and I did not know it. A lot of companies have not had death or injury but are sending kits to disable your drop side just incase. This will not cost the consumer anything. You typically enter your model number on the company's website and information and they will send you a kit. 

GAP GIVE AND GET GIVE 30% OFF

Gap is doing their Give and Get Give promotion where you get 30% off everything. Shade Clothing closing

The word is pretty much out by now but Shade Clothing is going out of business and closing their stores and website. Everything must go. If you are pregnant (like me) I love their Shade Maternity cap sleeve tees. So comfortable as they are actually made to fit a pregnant belly if you know what I mean. They are $10.

THANKSGIVING POINT & THIS IS THE PLACE

For the entire month of August you can go to Thanksgiving Point for $2 a person on Tuesdays. It is quite crowded but you can get into the Farm, Gardens or Dinosaur Museum.

And for August you can go to the This is the Place Heritage State Park for only $2 on Wednesdays through September 1st. They are open 9-5. It is normally $9 for adults and $7 for children so this is a great deal.

DRY ERASE CRAYONS

Ingenius! Crayola has just come out with Dry Erase Crayons.  I am looking forward to using these with my son on some of his wipe off learning books instead of markers. Why didn't they come up with these sooner. I saw a Target ad had them for $2 but I don't know how long they will be that price. If you got the Target back to school magazine/ad there is an $1 off coupon in there.  Crayola has them for $5 on their website.
